We are saddened to announce that we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close Mother Shipton’s as of Friday 20th March 2020 until the current situation has improved and the social distancing measures are lifted.

Our team members’ and customers’ safety and health are our utmost priority and now feel it is our responsibility to do the right thing. Although Mother Shipton’s is an outdoor attraction with continual movement of people through the park, we also have an incredibly popular adventure playground and an indoor museum and gift shop, as well as ticket booths at the main entrance. We have concluded that it wouldn’t be fair to our visitors if they couldn’t make full use of our facilities, and that it is the right thing to do to close Mother Shipton’s for now to help prevent the spreading of Coronavirus.

If you have made a booking, we can change this to an alternative date or an Open ticket. If you have purchased a Mother Shipton’s membership, this will be extended for the amount of time we’re closed. We will keep you updated on our social media platforms and our website.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact us on info@mothershipton.co.uk.

We would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding in these difficult times. We look forward to welcoming visitors again when it is safe to do so.
