The park closed for the winter and opens WEEKENDS ONLY in March 2017 (school groups only may pre book for weekdays in March).
From 1st April 2017 we are open EVERY DAY until Sunday the 29th of October 2017.
While you’re here, why not combine your visit with a walk around Knaresborough. You could also visit the historic city of York, or the spa town of Harrogate, venture further afield into the stunning Yorkshire Dales, or over to the coast to beautiful Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay.

How to find us
If travelling by car (all day parking £2 in addition to admission) we are located next to High Bridge in Knaresborough on the A59. Use postcode HG5 8DD for satellite navigation. Staff will welcome you at the Main Gate at this entrance and direct you to our car park which is within the park itself.
If travelling by rail or on foot the Main Gate is a 5 to 10 minute walk from Knaresborough train station. Northern Rail offer direct trains to Knaresborough from Leeds and York:
