Petrifying Past At Mother Shipton’s Cave
This summer Mother Shipton’s will be stepping back in time, embracing the 16th Century onwards, sharing the wonders of the past that made Mother Shipton’s Cave famous. Mother Shipton’s history was full of truly momentous characters, from Oliver Cromwell to Guy Fawkes and Henry VIII. If you’re lucky you may even be able to meet some of these formidable characters on your visit.
Visitors during the summer holidays will be treated to our horrible history style trail, leading children throughout the park to discover and unearth the history Mother Shipton’s and the characters who she brought to life in her tales and prophecies.
